Chideh Heavy Lift Named Title Sponsor of 2025 FOCASA Circus Arts Festival, Championing Arts Education Across Taiwan
Chideh Heavy Lift Engineering Co., Ltd. is proud to announce its role as title sponsor of the 2025 FOCASA Circus Arts Festival. Running from October 3–12, 2025, on the expansive lawn beside the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center Light Rail Station, the festival brings together 12 world-class circus companies from 8 countries — including the UK, Australia, Mexico, and Finland — for 101 performances, making it the largest circus arts festival in Asia.
With over 50 years of deep roots in Taiwan’s heavy engineering industry, Chideh’s sponsorship of the FOCASA festival reflects the company’s commitment to giving back to society and investing in local culture. Chairman Han-Yen Hu noted that circus arts embody a spirit of courage and determination that resonates deeply with Chideh’s own philosophy of “challenging the impossible” — making this partnership a natural fit.
Community Outreach: Bringing the Arts to Rural Communities
Beyond title sponsorship, Chideh is also supporting the festival’s community initiative. With backing from the Kaohsiung Bureau of Cultural Affairs, Bureau of Education, and Taiwan Power Company, a special public benefit performance on October 9 will welcome 1,600 students and teachers from rural and underserved elementary schools — free of charge. Chideh believes that every child deserves access to world-class artistic experiences, and that the seeds of arts education should reach every corner of society.
